Product Description

Finally, a tent designed to be roomy and comfortable while being light enough for your backcountry adventures! Our family of Zion backpacking tents provide all the room and comfort needed for you and your tent mates.

We designed each variant of the Zion with a spacious, rectangular shape that doesn't cheat by tapering on one side.

The Zion 1P is 37-inches wide which will easily fit any one-person sleeping pad and leave plenty of room for other gear.

The 53-inch width of the Zion 2P will fit two 25-inch sleeping pads with room to spare.

Finally, the Zion 3P is the king of space with a width of 70 inches.

Each size offers two side vestibules which are the perfect place for packs and boots. Finally, the two-door design means you can enter and exit with ease and not disturb your tent mates.

We've done our best to make this an outstanding backpacking tent:

  • So light, your back will thank you! The single person Zion 1P has a lightweight trail weight of 3 lbs. 3 oz. The two-person Zion 2P comes in at a trail weight of only 4 lbs. 2 oz. Finally, the three-person Zion 3P provides a ton of space with a trail weight of only 5 lbs. 1 oz. Since the 2P and 3P can easily sleep two or three, you can split the weight and carry just over 2 lbs. per person.
  • All of the high-end features in an affordable package; four spacious mesh pockets, dual vents with kickstands, a pole repair splint, eight Y-stakes with Dyneema guy lines and adjusters, 3,000 mm silicon/PU waterproofing with fully-taped seams, and the list goes on. Why pay more when you can have it all at a much lower price!
  • All three Zion tents offer an ultralight setup! Use only the included footprint, poles and fly to quickly set up a minimalist shelter. Perfect as a weight-saving alternative for when you don't need the protection of a full tent.
  • We used high-quality rip-stop fabrics and aluminum alloy to make sure this tent will last you for years. If you do run into any issues, our outstanding customer service and lifetime warranty will be there to take care of it.

What is your return/exchange policy?

We offer 60 days to accommodate any returns or exchanges of non-defective products. In some cases, we can accommodate returns and exchanges past 60 days, but these will be decided on a case-by-case basis. Any returns after 60 days will only be offered store credit.

What items are eligible for a return?

To be eligible for a return and refund, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

If you've purchased a tent or tarp and would like to set it up in your backyard, please do so on a dry, clear day to keep the tent/tarp as clean as possible. Pitch the tent/tarp on dry grass if possible and use other stakes if you have them available. This will keep the tent/tarp and stakes in an unused condition to facilitate a return.

If items sent back for a return/exchange show clear signs of use (excessive dirt, animal hair, etc.), the return/exchange will be rejected and the items will be shipped back.

Are shipping fees refundable?

Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the initial cost of shipping your order (if any) will be deducted from your refund.

Is return shipping free?

No, the cost of return shipping will be subtracted from the refund amount. We will provide a prepaid return label for the return shipment. The cost of return shipping will be provided to you along with the prepaid return label.

Please note that due to our shipping volume, we have access to significantly lower shipping rates than retail. As a result, the cost of the return shipping will be much lower, resulting in a higher refund.

To initiate a return/exchange, please email us at support@pariaoutdoorproducts.com with the following information:

  • Your original order number
  • The items to be returned/exchanged
  • The reason for the return/exchange

Once your return/exchange request is received, we will provide a prepaid return shipping label along with the cost of return shipping. This ensures that the shipment will be trackable and insured.

Once the returned items are delivered and inspected (please allow 1-2 weekdays for inspection), we will issue your refund or exchange.

When a refund is processed, a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment and you will receive an email notification. Please allow 2-5 business days for the credit to appear.

Best customer service I've encountered

I just wanted to share what an awesome customer service Paria has.

Easy to use, terrific value, great quality tent

We (2 people) have used the 3 person Zion tent for a total of 9 nights over 3 trips. The quality has been great so far, and ease of use is my favorite part! Set up is beyond easy- the engineering behind the single tentpole structure is genius, and the sections of poles nearly assemble themselves. The 3 parts (ground cloth, tent body and fly) fit together intuitively and provide plenty of structure and headroom. We can sit up and play cards in this tent!!! There are many smart inside mesh pockets, including in the corners for glasses and on the ceiling for a light. Every door flap has a way to be rolled back and secured- there are no straps or toggles that I wish for, because the designers thought of everything! It is great without the fly on a warm night. We spent 12 hours in the cold rain along Lake Superior last week, and not a DROP leaked, blew, or soaked in thanks to the bathtub floor and easy to stake fly. Nice ventilation options at the top to prevent condensation or allow a little air flow. The tent is easy to find at night thanks to very reflextive toggle and zipper straps- they light up like an LED when you headlamp catches them. The zippers are not rugged like a canvas tent, but what i would expect, and they zip easily, and if I catch a bit of tent fabric in one, I can gently slide back off the fabric with no harm done. The few times I have abused the zippers, they have been forgiving. The stakes are ultralight, and as expected they are not the strongest material- several have bent when stepping them into rooty ground, and 1 snapped when I attempted to straighten it. A few more stakes would be appreciated, as they do not include enough for all of the tie out lines, but when I emailed, a rep immediatly offered to send me a few more at no charge. (Instead I bought a whole package, as they are not expensive and I wanted the pretty blue ones to match the tent!) The price- at under $200 for a lightweight 3-P tent, I meant for this to be an entry level purchase as we explored back packing. However, I think we have found our gold standard! When split between us, we each carry only 2.5#, which is hard to beat. We are both of *ahem* larger stature (but under 6 feet tall) and use extra wide inflatable mats and quilts. We are very comfortable in the tent, and even put our packs at our feet with no trouble. The vestibules are sufficient for keeping shoes/poles dry, but a little narrow for the packs if raining (and I do use my pack cover to cover my shoes if rain is expected.) As expected, the 3 person claim is a little snug- I think 2 lean adults with mummy bags could fit a third person in, especially a child, but we are not lean adults, which is why we looked for a 3 person tent for 2 of us. We raved about it to 2 different sets of hikers this weekend who asked about our tent. I cannot say enough good things about the tent and the customer service I received!

First trip with new Zion 2P

Just came back from a couple days camping near Steven's Pass, WA. This test performed wonderfully and I would highly recommend it.

Small Vestibule, but Great Value Overall

Spent my first night in the Zion 3P with my son and go figure, it rains unexpectedly overnight. We woke up and stayed dry inside the tent, but our packs got a little wet - the vestibules are on the smaller side - that's the only improvement I could suggest. The weight and size of the tent are just right, the included footprint and stakes are high quality, and set up could not be simpler. I plan to use this tent and possibly purchase the Zion 2P (or another Zion 3P) since we'll need another tent to accommodate our family of 5 on backpacking trips. I highly recommend this tent to folks testing the waters with backpacking and aren't ready to commit to purchasing a something much more expensive.

Great value for a tent I loved the square set up lots of space

I have only used the tent once to test it out car camping—the pros, duel vestibule, square setup, reinforced seams. As one-person tents go, there is lots of space. I did not feel claustrophobic. In the morning, you can sit up straight. I was able to have a good night's sleep. The ground cloth is hefty, which is good and bad as it adds a lot of weight to the tent if packed.

The Cons of this tent is the weight. It is advertised at 3.3 pounds. I stood on the scale, then on the scale with the tent, and it came in at 5.5 pounds. The ground cloth and stakes are a lot of weight. I do like the ground cloth, but not the added weight of it. I will be taking it out for hiking and using a space blanket in its place. The steaks look heavy-duty and add much weight, but they are not heavy-duty. One bent the first time I tried to use it. I will replace it with lighter, more heavy-duty ones and take less when hiking.

Over all, I would say it is a great tent. The best for the money.

Easy setup, great features

This tent sets up easily and has all the features I was looking for in a one person tent: vestibules large enough for pack on one side, boots and water on the other; double entries; and storage pockets. For the price, weight, and features, it cannot be beat. I recommend it.

One of my favorites!

I have been camping for many years and have used several tents from different manufacturers. This is probably the favorite of them all. Good size for a two person. One piece pole design is pretty awesome. Very easy to set up, even in a storm or darkness. Have been using it over 2 years, at least two camping trips a month. Zero issues! Have been in several rain storms and stayed high and dry. The pockets on front and back walls are handy as well as small gear loft. Also has a hook on the top for a light. Good for reading at night if you don’t want to wear a headlamp. In a perfect world the tent could be slightly lighter and the vestibules a little bigger. I still backpack with it no problem and it has plenty of room for all my gear. Aside from the tent itself, Paria has the best customer service of any company I’ve ever dealt with. I own several of their products including the breeze tent, small and double sleeping pads, trekking poles, and titanium cup. They have always been quick to respond toany questions or concerns I have. They even sent me a new rain fly when they changed the design and added rings that attach to the poles. I highly recommend this tent!

Excellent Value / Bang for your BUCK!

Have only been able to test out the new tent a couple of times since receiving it here in OR ( Due to the Covid shutdown ) but so far / so GOOD! I had the opportunity of doing a side by side comparison with an Alps mountaineering similar model & $$ cost.. I could not find a single advantage that the Alps had over the Paria! In fact, the Paria appears to be superior in any / ALL specs. Can't WAIT to get out in the wild & enjoy the new ZION!

Perfect for my needs

This tent is perfect for three season camping, light enough in my pack, and roomy enough for myself and gear. I love the two door/vestibule design. The tent poles are actually just one, so less chance to lose a section. The ultralight option is great to have if needed. I’m looking forward to multinight trips this season.

Love This Tent!

I've used this tent (3P) a few times and I really like it. It's super easy to pitch, packs down relatively small, is super functional, and it withstood some very gusty 20-30 mph winds for hours and hours. Paria has a winner with its design and ease of use. It's also amazing that it comes with a footprint and plenty of high quality stakes. I would have loved if the bathtub floor was a little taller and the vestibules just a little bigger, but overall it's a fantastic tent at an amazing value! Can't wait to plan my next adventure with it!
