One Easy Solution

These are the simple way to make sure your lines are fast and easy to set up when hanging your tarp. Attach your ground line to the tarp ( Rain Fly ) and then make a loop and drop it over the ground steak. Adjust the line tensor to get the tautness you want and go to the next line. I leave them attached to the rain fly and roll them up in it. Then slide a set of snake skins over the rain fly.

Easy to use guy line tensioning

I received some of these with Santuary Siltarp and loved how simple they were to use so updated my tent's guy line tensioners with the Micro Line-Loc as well.

Tested to 85lbs

This adjuster and the 1.5mm guy line are mighty impressive. I will be switching out all my guy lines and replacing them with the 1.5mm line and line adjuster. Here's what I base my review on: I built a load test rig to test the 1.5mm guy line and guy line adjuster. The line and line adjuster held up fine to about 85lbs, then the adjuster slipped a bit after hitting 90lbs. The slipping appeared to wear off the teeth in the adjuster because it could no longer hold more than a few pounds of force. That's pretty impressive for such a small piece of plastic. (You have to use the right knots in the guy line to get its full rated load. The wrong knot will load the sheathing of the line, which will break, then the UHMWPE core will slip out of the knot. I speak from experience on my test rig...) As a side note, I also tested just the 1.5mm guy line using a standard rolling hitch (also called a taut line hitch) to make an adjustable loop. This surprisingly held up to 90lbs just fine. It was a bit hard to slide the rolling hitch to adjust the loop after that load, but it was possible. All very reassuring.

Thinner than i expected but worked as it was supposed to with the line locs. Have only tested it in the yard at this point but so far so good.
