Introducing our Tri-Fold Carbon Cork Trekking Poles

Posted by on

We are super-excited to introduce our first product, the Tri-Fold Carbon Cork Trekking Poles! This is a culmination of endless hours of work to design a truly awesome product.

We wanted to create a compact set of poles that you can bring along with you on day hikes or multi-day backpacking trips and not have to worry about bulk and weight. The poles have a unique tri-fold design that allows them to fold down to just 15 inches in length, or about 40 percent less than most traditional telescoping poles. Due to the carbon fiber shafts, each pole comes in at just 9 ounces, which will reduce arm fatigue during a long day of hiking.

We wanted to use durable materials so that you could count on their performance. We use super-strong carbon fiber shafts but also reinforce them with 7000-series aluminum at the connector points to ensure added durability. They will not let you down on the trail! The syncork handle provides all the benefits of real cork but is more durable and better for the environment. An added bonus is that cork-eating marmots will stay away.

We wanted to make them adjustable so that you can really leverage them during both uphill climbs and downhill descents. The easy flick-lock mechanism allows you to easily change the length on the trail. The handle also incorporates a foam choke-grip which allows added flexibility. This means that you will be able to use your upper body to help on steep climbs and take pressure off the knees on long descents.

We wanted to make them affordable so that they were accessible to everyone. Being true to our goal of empowering everyone to get out and enjoy the outdoors, we didn't want to create something that drained your wallet.

  • After buying the Breeze Mesh Tent and enjoying the: affordability, quality and craftsmanship of that piece of gear, I went ahead and ordered these poles which i received in a timely manner. First impressions; 1. They feel extremely light in my hand compared to my old aluminum telescoping poles. 2. There was only one stuff sack and not one for each pole as indicated. 3. The locking collar clamp is made out of a thin white plastic and not the black material as shown in the photos. I question the durability of this material and will have more feedback once I put these to use on the trail.

  • Will these poles get through TSA scutiny as carry on, namely United in states and Delta on international flight. Love thes trekking poles and don’t want to lose them if I attempt to carry them on. Should I check them just to be on the safe side?

  • Hi! I’m interested in your trekking poles. I have a few questions. My wife broke her ankle, and is recovering from surgery. Will these poles be sturdy enough for her to use on our trips? Also, I would like to order extra rubber tips, is that possible? I’m 5’11", she’s 5’7", can I order 1- 100 cm and 1- 120 cm? Please advise. Thank you

  • Just orders 2 sets of your poles.
Heading to Utah in October for a 2 week trip to the “Big Five” and
wanted the collapsible poles for ease of packing but was hesitant to pay $130 or more for the other brands. Especially for one’s that don’t have the length adjustment feature.
After reading the great reviews on Amazon it seemed like a no brainer to go with the Parias.
Have never used trekking poles before so we are looking forward to getting them and trying them out.

  • Aloha Paria Folks,
I am only 4’10" and I am interested in your Tri-fold Trekking Poles; it seems that I am too short for even the shorter version of the Poles. I am going to tour Germany, France and England beginning October this year. Will you have have a shorter version of your Tri-fold Trekking Poles on the market anytime soon? They have all the features that I would like in hiking poles. I would like to get in better shape for all that walking I will be doing in the Fall.
    Mahalo and aloha,
    Judith Kearney
